Eric Sewell (as magician)
My name is Eric Sewell and I make objects, trinkets, and curiosities under the moniker of etcArts. I work primarily in clay, tinker in photography and graphic design as conditions warrant, and try to keep my head above water.
I live and work in Lincoln, Nebraska from the basement studio of my residence. I received my BFA in studio art from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2005 and for the past few years have been applying for this (assistantships) and that (graduate school) with neither panning out. I am actively trying to make this my full time job as I scrounge money and take random gigs.
I’m 99% vegetarian, I run, I don’t have health insurance, I adore animals, I prefer art before the 20th century, I’m obsessed with politics, I like bikes, I dislike authority, and I love music.
